Adhyatma Ramayana
Adhyatma Ramayana is a study of the glory of Lord Rama from a spiritual and philosophical angle. Unlike the Ramayana of Välmīki, it presents the entire Rama-Katha in a summarized form and focuses on the importance of the devotion of Lord Rama and his consort Sita as the incarnations of Visnu and Laxmi, respectively. It is understood to have been culled out of Padma Purāņa and duly reproduced by the great sage Yājñavalkya, titled Adhyatma Ramayana. A royal scholar from Nepal, a true devotee of Rama, has authored the English translation of this treatise, which will undoubtedly benefit readers in India and abroad.
The entire Sanskrit text of the Adhyatma Rāmāyaņa is grouped into seven Kändas (chapters), with sixty-four sub-chapters containing 4200 ślokas, and its English version has been presented in a slightly different manner with certain improvements for the convenience of the readers. We aim to serve the interests of both Lord Rama's devotees and scholars.
